Research Interests

Understanding sediment dynamics in modern landscapes and within the sedimentary rock record on Earth and other planets motivates my research.  My work emphasizes extracting quantitative paleoclimate and paleoenvironment information from wind blown sedimentary and geomorphic systems.  I use field data, geospatial and remote sensing data, and experimental data to explore these interests.

I am looking for students interested in working on modern or ancient sedimentary systems.  Please contact me if you are interested.
